Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of David Richey James, age 83. He was a native of Johnson County, Iowa but resided in Decherd Tennessee. Mr. James passed from this life on November 12, 2022. He was an avid lifelong learner, holding 5 college degrees. He was also very active in community affairs, including positions on the local planning commission and zoning board. Mr. James is survived by his daughter Mary and her husband Jay; grandchildren, Kelsey and Jonah; two brothers; niece, Sheri Lynn; texting buddy, Judy Lynn and a host of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. James on November 28, 2022 at 2:00 at Watson-North Funeral Home Chapel.
