Mr. David Ray Bearden, age 67, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center North. Mr. Bearden was born April 24, 1955 in Morgan County, Alabama to Millard Bearden and Nola Mae West Bearden. He was a resident of the Lacey’s Spring community for over 40 years. He and his wife, Pamela Kaye Reese Bearden, have been married for over 44 years. Mr. Bearden was of the Holiness faith. Not only did David enjoy his family, especially the grandchildren, but he had a wide variety of interest. He was a big NASCAR and Earnhardt fan. He loved fishing, Alabama football and collecting scrap iron.

Josh Bearden; daughter, Jennifer A. Hanrion (Mark); brothers, Wesley Bearden and Jeff Bearden; sisters, Deborah Jean Bearden and Teresa Smith; his five grandchildren, Brynn Burton, Kinsley Burton, Teagan Burton, Alyssa Bearden and Avery Bearden.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Nola Mae Bearden, and three brothers, Sammy Bearden, Andy Bearden and Greg Bearden.
A visitation for Mr. Bearden will be held at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel at Morgan City on Saturday, March 18, 2023 between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. The family has chosen cremation following the services.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Red Cross.
