David Newton Stone, age 68 of Dora, passed away Thursday December 3, 2020. He was owner of Stone Air; he was a member of Sumiton Church of God; he was an avid Alabama football fan. He loved the Lord.
Graveside service and interment is Saturday December 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Cemetery in Sumiton. Pastor Victor Massey will officiate. There will be no public visitation.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Stone; mother, Vila Mae Stone; brother, Donald Stone and sister, Denita Sargent.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patsy Glover Stone; daughter, Emily Potts; son, Ben Stone (Amanda); grandchildren, Olivia, Garrett and Emma Potts and Haley and Lilly Stone; brothers, Mickey Stone (Sedera) and Larry Stone (Sherry); many other relatives and a host of friends.
