David Michael “Wormy” Lynch

 David Michael “Wormy” Lynch, 60, died Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Iuka Hospital. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Elgin and Lucille Wooten Lynch. He was a mechanic and attended Jordan Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

Services will be Wednesday, December 22, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife – Janice Lynch; a son – Adam Lynch (Taylor); two grandchildren – Leah Lynch and Charlotte Lynch; two sisters – Shirley Freeman and Sue Sparks; three aunts – Nellie Rue Wooten, Jot Wooten and Nadine Wooten and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul, Lee and James Lynch and one sister, Wanda Holder.

Pallbearers will be Ray Lynch, Clayton Cox, Garry Ivey, Billy Rogers, C.J. Lynch, Tim Smith, Christopher Lynch, Chase Hollingsworth, Jairo Serrano and Travis Snell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Rock Creek Hunting Club.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 11-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS
