David Michael Patterson, 68, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Wednesday, September 29, 1948, in Morgan County to M.M. Patterson and Annette Kyle Patterson. The funeral will be Friday, February 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

David was a 1966 graduate of Morgan County High School in Hartselle, AL and was employed as a U.S. Postal Carrier at Haysland Station in Huntsville for 30 years until retirement.
David loved his family and would do anything for them. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were a joy to him and he cherished spending time with them. They called him Big Daddy and Bobby. He was a believer in Christ, a passionate Alabama football fan and enjoyed visiting with his friends.
David was very loved and will be greatly missed.
Classmates will serve as pallbearers .
