David Michael "Mickey"  JohnsonDavid Michael “Mickey” Johnson, age 68 of Franklin, TN passed away March 30, 2019. Renown basketball player where he graduated from Bethesda High School and received a basketball scholarship and his Bachelors Degree from Trevecca College. He was a teacher and coach since 1988 at Brentwood Middle School. Avid University of Tennessee fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and working with cows and the farm. Preceded in death by parents, William and Martha Hill Johnson; sister, Nancy Shouse; brothers, William “Billy” Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; mother of his two oldest children (Josh and Jenny), Karen Stovall Johnson. Survived by: wife, Tammy Johnson; daughter, Jenny (Josh) Peach; sons, Josh (Jessica) Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Dylan (Chelsee) Marlin and Austin (Reagan) Marlin; sisters, Judy Sullivan and Vicki (Tim) Flippen; grandchildren, Luke and Levi Johnson, Landon Way, Logan Peach, Easton, Holden and Wyatt Marlin. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, James Scruggs officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Donald Buford, Dennis Harrison, Frankie Nall, Robbie Allen, Keven Daniel and Jake Way. Honorary pallbearers will be teachers and staff of Brentwood Middle School. Memorials may be made to the Williamson Medical Center Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be 3-8PM Monday and 1-4PM Tuesday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289 williamsonmemorial.com
