Mr. David Marchel Miller, 85 of Princeton, Alabama passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 16, 2025. David leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Massey Miller; his mother, Lorena Metcalf Miller; his father, John T. Miller; and his sister, Daphene Posey.
David is survived by his daughters, Teresa Miller Kluka (Philip) and Tracy Miller Henke (Tim); his grandchildren, Michael Kluka (Kara), Sarah Kluka, Daniel Kluka, Taylor Henke Green (Noah), and Marshall Henke; great-grandchildren, Camden and Evelyn Kluka, Aubrey and Kiyah Cash, and Charlotte and Bear Green. He is also survived by his brother, Donnie Miller and his wife, Betty.
David also leaves behind a host of loving family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
David spent much of his life working in the family business-logging, farming, and hauling timber.
His faith was the cornerstone of his life. David was a devoted member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, leading music for many years.
After retirement, David spent his time visiting family and friends. His love for God, family and friends will be his forever legacy.
Visitation will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Henshaw Cemetery on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 3 p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Johnny Johnson and Bro. Mike Gibson. Pallbearers will be Tom Fuller, Dennis Robertson, Bobby Johnson, David Wayne Johnson, Marshall Henke, and Michael Kluka.
