  David Lyle LeeDavid Lyle Lee, 72, of Delta, Alabama, passed away at Noland Hospital RMC in Anniston Al. on April 23, 2025. Born on August 17, 1952, in Gadsden, Alabama, David lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and the great outdoors. David graduated from Gadsden High School, where he was a proud member of the football team. His strong work ethic and leadership were evident throughout his career. He served as a supervisor at Coca-Cola Bottling for 18 years before continuing his working career journey at Alabama Lazer in Munford, where he retired after 20 years of committed service.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Jo Folsom Lee; his daughter, Stephanie Shea Lee; and his sons, Hayden David Lee, Dylan Carrlyle Lee and James Dustin Neighbors; grandchildren Matthew Neighbors, Sammy Neighbors, and Debbie Neighbors; and great-grandson Everett Hope.
His mother, Elizabeth Ann Grigsby Lee; sister, Cathy Lee Brazelton; niece, Julie Graham Roberts and great-nephew Alex Kochie also mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Lavern Lee.

A man of deep faith and conviction, David spent the final day of his life reaffirming his love for God. With heartfelt sincerity, he repeated the words “I Believe,” rededicating himself to our Lord and Savior.

David loved his family deeply and took immense pride in each of them. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, archery, and camping. He had a special bond with Rusty, his cherished fur baby companion.
Whether watching birds or feeding them in the yard, David found peace in nature’s quiet moments.

A memorial service honoring David’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Cremation Services of East Alabama located at 733 White Plains Rd., Anniston, AL 36207. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM followed by the service at 3:00 PM.

David Lyle Lee was much loved and highly regarded by those who knew him. His memory will continue to bring comfort and strength to all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
