David Jay Greene passed away on January 31, 2022. He was born on October 26, 1960, to his parents, David James Greene, and Sue Lentz Greene, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
David was a family man. He enjoyed helping his son on his farm, spending time with his grandkids. Was an avid rabbit hunter, spending his free time riding around on his side by side, and loved his puppies, Albert, and Hazel.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Dugger Greene; daughter: Kelley (Tony) Gray; son: Sawyer (Alison) Greene; grandkids: Baleigh Gray, Griffin Gray, Karsen Attkisson, David Lane Greene, Eli Greene; brothers: Scott (Lisa) Greene, Jeff (Connie) Greene; brothers-in-law: Mike (Cindy) Dugger, Robby (Tammy) Dugger; mother-in-law: Geraldine Dugger; best friend: Roger Sears; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law: Rayburn Dugger.
Honorary pallbearers are: Roger Sears, Richard Hughes, Chris Boshers “Boo”, Dillon Scott, Bob Bolton, Josh Sears, and Amanda Seiber (Sears).
Services will be held at a later date.
