David James Reed, age 56 of Hendersonville, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in Winchester on June 29, 1966 to the late James Edward and Dorothy Jean (Bennett) Reed. David was a welder by trade. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and riding motorcycles, as well as spending time with his dog, Sadie. David is survived by his loving children, Jonathan Reed, Tyler (Emily) Reed, and Kasey (Dustin) Guard; grandchildren, Makaylee Reed, Parker Reed, and William Reed; and sister, Donna Reed. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
