David Inis Lee Wilson, age 85, Double Springs, AL. passed away Sunday June 9, 2024. He served in the Alabama Army National Guard for 26 years.
Visitation will be Thursday June 13, 2024 from 11:30AM – 1:30PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:30PM in the chapel, with Bro. Danny Page officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Double Springs, AL.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Victor) Reyes and Cassandra (Jaron) Brown; grandchildren, Darren Holcomb, Jayden Box, Mason Reyes, Samuel Brown, Hannah Brown and Harley Brown; nephews, Chuck Shedd and Kenny Petty; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee Wilson and Gracie Page Wilson; sister, Ila Shedd; nephew, Willard Chris Vanzant; special friend, Alfie Smith.
