David Huffman, 84, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at Pontotoc Heath and Rehab. David was born and raised in Houston, MS, spent 49 years working at Stratford’s, and enjoyed 54 wonderful years of marriage with Mabeline. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and cherishing moments with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Mabeline Huffman, son, Michael Huffman(Tonia), daughter, Judy Patterson(Balford), son, David Westmoreland(Barbara), his grandchildren, Clint Patterson, Tanner Huffman(Janna), Faith Huffman, Logan Huffman, Jordan Westmoreland, and Elizabeth Westmoreland, his great-grandchildren, Nova Patterson and Evie Huffman, and his two sisters, Bennie Lewis and Annie Ruth Brown.
Preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Irene Criddle Huffman, sister, Cathleen Huffman and Walthreen Brown, and his brother, Wayne Huffman.
Service will be Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 2PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Justin Varnon officiating. Visitation will be Saturday evening 5-8PM and Sunday 1PM until service time, Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Michael Huffman, Balford Patterson, Clint Patterson, Logan Huffman, Tanner Huffman, and Kendalle Morphis. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jon Kerry King.
