David H. Sumrall, 67, of Foxworth, MS, formerly of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Hattiesburg, MS. David was born on February 28, 1952 in Tylertown, MS to the late W.D. and Jeanie Sumrall. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Frances T. “Lisa” Sumrall; and brothers, Roger and Wayne Sumrall.
He is survived by his sister, Sharrion (Bruce) Welford along with numerous other family members, church family, and friends.
A graveside service for David will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 beginning at 2:30 p.m. with military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to your local church body in his memory.
