David Glenn Smith, 71 of Athens, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at home. Mr. Smith was born September 16, 1948 to Jim Ed Smith and Lillie Bell Black Smith.
Due to the State Health Order there will be a private visitation and graveside service for Mr. Smith. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Donald Terry officiating.
He was a member of Truth Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith; sons, Michael Smith (Chelsa) and Brian Smith (Donna); daughters, Heather Ryan (John) and Felicia Goodson (Jerry); sister, Judy Griffin (Lester Wyatt); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are John Ryan, Spencer Smith, Shannon Terry, Steven Terry, Colin Etheredge and Brandon Griffin. Honorary pallbearer is Lane Ryan.
