David Evon Hill, age 76, of Riverton Rose Trail, died Wednesday, November 5, 2013. His family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Denvil Keele and Sister Wanda Keele officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Cemetery.
Mr. Hill was a Cherokee native and a member of Provision Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Gladys Hill; brothers, William Gene and Fred Leon Hill and sister, Jeanette Dunn.
He is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Nancy Hill; son, Shannon Hill; daughters, Linda Parker (Mike), Lavonda Hill (TJ); sisters, Betty Ann Green, Martha Austin and Annette Gray, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Michael Smith, Steve Bonds, Fred Leon Hill Jr., Justin Lovelace, Joshua Hill and Gary Gene Hill.
Honorary pallbearers are Troy Hayes and Elton Smith.
The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Tennessee Valley and to Dr. Syed.
