David Craig Hartley, 82, of Huntsville passed away Saturday at a local hospital. Mr. Hartley was retired from McDonnell Douglas, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Winchester Road Baptist Church. He was very active in the New Market Senior Center. Survivors include his wife: Barbara Hartley; two daughters: Cindy (Tim) Slade and Sharron (Jeff) Buck; one son: Craig (Amy) Hartley; one brother: Marvin (Thelma) Hartley; one sister: Phyllis (Don) Myers; seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Hal Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in New Market. Memorial contributions may be made to the Winchester Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
