David Cody Buzbee, age 32 of Empire, passed away Saturday October 31, 2020 at his residence.
He was a member of Maryland Masonic Lodge # 783 in Sipsey. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He attended Sumiton Church of God.
Funeral services will be Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donnelle Shanks; grandparents, Liz Shanks and Donald Shanks, Sr.; uncle, James Shanks and cousin, Nicole Shanks.
Survivors include his father, David Lynn BuzBee (Angie); sisters, Miranda and Mary Willcutt; grandparents, Cousie and Robert Byars, J.C. Buzbee and Bobbie Banks; special niece, Jaylynn; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
