Mr. David Clifton Bridges, 55, died July 10, 2017, at his residence. He was born November 14, 1961 in Booneville, MS to Donald Clyde Bridges and Mary Carolyn Brown Bridges. David worked many years driving a forklift, employed by Hunter-Douglas for many years. He was a simple man who was a devoted husband to his wife, Samantha Gail Morris Bridges until her death in December 2012, and a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed music, art, playing the guitar and watching movies. He was of the Methodist faith.
There will be a memorial service private to the family with burial at a later date in Antioch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in South Pontotoc County. Survivors include his loving children, David Austin Bridges of Peppertown and daughter, Nikki Pannell of Saltillo; two stepchildren, Nicholas Kent of Fulton and Michael Morris of Pontotoc; one brother, Bradley Bridges (Michelle) of Tupelo; one sister, Donna Cordell (Michael) of Cleveland, TN; 3 grandchildren, Cali Sky Bridges, Stormy Dakota Bridges, and London Blake Pannell; a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
