David Bruce Miller David Bruce Miller was born on May 14, 1956, to Bruce and Irene Miller. He was a proud graduate of Boaz High School and later earned his degree from Athens State University. David dedicated his professional career to serving his country as a computer programmer for the Department of Defense, where he worked on software systems supporting military helicopters.
A man who loved creating and building, David could often be found working on projects with his collection of power tools. He enjoyed figuring out how things worked and took great pride in building things with his own hands. He was also a devoted Auburn fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Tigers.
David will be remembered for his intelligence, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and the love he had for his family.
He is survived by his father, Bruce Miller; Children, Morgan (Chris) Brown and Justin (Brooke) Miller; sisters, Linda Carnes and Lisa Upton; grandchildren, Shawn Brown, Marissa Miller, and Cameron Miller; along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Miller.
