David Bevin Garret, 64, of Lacey’s Spring, died at his home on April 6, 2014. He was born on December 13, 1949. He was in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Lipscome Cemetery located next to the Lacey’s Spring Post Office.
Mr. Garrett is preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Melba Garrett, and a brother, Marcus Ray Garrett. He is survived by two sons, Michael Garrett of Huntsville and Chris Garrett of Lacey’s Spring; two daughters, Christie (Chad) Chamberlain of Lacey’s Spring and Heatherly (Jonathan) Stines of Believdere, TN; three sisters: Rochele Clark, Judy (Jerry) Hall and Janie Garrett; ten grandchildren; and a special friend, Carolyn Helms
