Funeral service for David Beggs age 55 of Somerville will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and burial in the Valhermoso Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
David, who was born June 20, 1968, in Decatur, Alabama to Melvin Freddie Beggs and Cora Belle Spurlin Beggs, died on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital.
David had worked 34 years at GE in Maintenance. David loved nature, traveling, and being outdoors. You could find him out on his farm with his cattle or just enjoying a ride on his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Blake Beggs and his twin sister, Danita Beggs Nash.

Jon Durham, Tim Anders, Gary Brasher, Tim Beggs, Scott Bleything and Rick McLemore will serve as pallbearers.
