David Arden Holt, 63, of Florence, passed away July 2, 2017 at his residence. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran; and a member of the American Legion.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Calvin Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his father, Enoch Arden Holt; mother, Hazel Rich Kelley; sisters, Wanda Holley and Tracey Kimbrell.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Holt; son, David “Dave” Arden Holt, Jr.; daughter, Beth Holt; step-daughters, Lorie Maxwell (Cody), Tina and Melanie Behel; sisters; Judy Odem, Shelia Lee, Janet Melton (Steve), and Marilyn Crowell; and a granddaughter, Allie Bond.
Pallbearers will be John Lee, Jay Melton, Tyler Melton, Josh Richardson, Nick Richardson, and Cody Maxwell.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cloverdale Volunteer Fire and Rescue; Dr. Felix Morris; and Dr. N. Rao Boorgu.
