Mr. David Allen Childers, 65, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2025. He was born on October 14, 1959, in Morgan County, Alabama, to the late Billy Joe Childers and Helen Gomes Childers.
A devoted Auburn football fan, David will be remembered for his love of the game and his unwavering support for the Tigers.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Childers; ex-wife, Paige Childers; nephew, Robby Childers; and uncle, Alva Childers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Childers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
