David Alan Adkins was born on August 14, 1959 and he left this earth on March 4, 2021. He leaves behind his father, Ursel Adkins of Pennsylvania; his sister, Debbie Markovitch also of Pennsylvania; and his husband, Phil Irelan of Huntsville Alabama.
David was retired from LOGSA where he worked as a security specialist. He loved to travel and during his time with LOGSA he traveled worldwide performing security duties for the various overseas facilities.
He was a unique individual of many interests. He was an avid collector of Coca Cola memorabilia. David was also a great animal lover: dogs, cats, and even rabbits. He rescued many an animal in need. He helped many people in need as well. David always thought of others first before himself and he never did anything for recognition, he did it because that is who he was.
You will be remembered and missed more than you know.
