David Aeirl Wilson, age 62, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
David was a big Nascar fan, loved playing golf, going fishing, and was a real Ford guy. He worked in the marination department at Pilgrim’s Pride. He was a devoted family man, who loved his family and friends deeply. The family fondly remembers how much David loved Elvis and at one time, even had the Elvis sideburns.
He was received in heaven by his mother, Carol Young; father, Edward Wilson; brother-in-law, John Gregory; and several aunts & uncles.
He leaves to cherish her memory, his fiance’ Debra Meherg; children, Amanda Kelly Taylor (Justin), Jennifer Dawn Wilson, Ashly Nicole Mather (Phillip), Corey David Wilson; grandchildren, Gabrielle Bolton, Isadora Bolton, Tori Mather, Kyli Mather, Khloe Cole, Ayden Wilson, Kisha Wilson; step-mother, Marlene Wilson; siblings, Debbie Bowling (Floyd), Ilene Gregory, Scott Wilson; 8 nieces; 14 great-nieces; 1 great-great-niece; aunt/uncle, Jimmy Young (Sandy); special cousin, Robert E. Lee Mills; and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the Sherwood family for their many years of friendship and kindness. Also, a special thanks the nurses and staff of Southern Care Hospice, especially Sonya and Danielle.
A celebration of his life will be held by the family at another time.
