David A. Patterson of Lutts, TN was born December 24, 1949 in Lutts, TN, the son of the late Marshall Aaron and Christine Rich Patterson. He was united in marriage to Eva Ann Anthony on October 27, 1972.
Mr. Patterson had worked at Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company, was a Public Security Officer with TVA and was a member of the Christian Faith Church, Florence, Alabama. He was a member of American Legion Post #11, Masonic Lodge #14, Local Union #852, and TVA Credit Union. He served in the United States Army and the Tennessee National Guard.
Mr. Patterson departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2012 at his home at the age of 62 Years, 10 Months, 23 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Ann Anthony Patterson of Lutts, TN; a son, Shannon Wade Patterson of Lutts, TN; a daughter, Selena Dawn Patterson Puckett of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Patrick Blake and Alexandria Paige Patterson, Paul Connor and Preston Scott Puckett; a brother, Randall Keith Patterson of Henning, TN; a sister, Wanda Kay Patterson Wesson of Florence, AL; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Floyd Lemuel Anthony, Jr. and his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Cypress Inn, Tennessee with military and masonic rites. Pallbearers will be Trenton Anthony, Zack Anthony, Frankie Miller, Jr., Austin “Ed” Holt, Shannon Holt, Chris Clark, and Scotty Wesson.
