Dave O. Orr, 41, of Courtland died Sunday, February 25th. at Decatur Morgan Hospital/Decatur General Campus. His funeral will be Friday, March 1st. at 1 o’clock at Jackson Chapel CME Church in Courtland. Burial will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Dave Orlando Orr was born June 7, 1971 to Betty Jean Orr of Courtland, AL.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Jackson Chapel CME Church. Dave was also a former member of the Spiritual Harmoneers as a drummer for a few years.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother; Betty Jean Orr, one son; Delandus Raquis Orr, and one daughter; Brionna Nicole Orr both of Sheffield, AL, three sisters; Janice Young, Annett Orr and April Orr all of Courtland, AL, one niece; Precious Orr, one nephew; Wiley Young IV and one great niece; Gabriell Hampton all of courtland, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
