Daulton Ray Vickery, 82, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away on July 30, 2018 at his residence. A native of Bear Creek, Alabama, he had resided in Russellville for the past 42 years, having moved from Birmingham. A retired coal miner with Jim Water Resources of Birmingham, Mr. Vickery was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Russellville.
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, August 3, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will begin at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Keith Prince officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville. Pallbearers will be Sam Evers, Kerry Gilbert, John Thornton, and Donald Clement, with Michael Pace serving as Honorary Bearer.
Surviving Mr. Vickery are his children: Tim and Phillip Vickery , and Jenny Vickery Evers, and her husband Sam Evers; brother, Dewayne Vickery and sister-in-law, Anna Vickery; two grandsons: Matthew Daulton Evers and Samuel Darrah Evers, Jr; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his wife of 50 years, Margaret Daniel Vickery; his parents, Joe and Lois Johnson Vickery; and sister, JoAnn Pace.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
