Darryl Grant Cooley, 55, of Taft, Tennessee, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at his residence. Services will be today, Feb. 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Bobby Marks and Redus Moran officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyhill Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooley was born Aug. 17, 1961 in Limestone County. He was a member of First Independent Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Cooley; son, Calvin Cooley, Decatur; daughter, Stephanie Cooley, Taft, Tennessee; mother, Joyce Cooley, Ardmore; brothers, Gary Cooley and Dale Cooley, both of Athens; sisters, Tammy Tucker, Athens and Elaine Lawrence, Minor Hill, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Mylan Anders and Madilyn Cooley.
