Darlene Anderson Stephens, age 71 of Decherd, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born in Franklin County on May 17, 1949 to the late William H. and Elsie Lucille (Walls) Anderson. A dedicated homemaker, Darlene enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. A wonderful lady inside and out, she most of all cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She attended Oaklawn Baptist Church and Way of the Cross Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stephens; and siblings, Sandra Walls, Debora Walls, and Gary Anderson. She is survived by her loving son, Mickey (Heather) Stephens of Decherd; grandsons, Tyler (Demetria) Stephens and Trace Stephens, both of Decherd; great-grandson, Brayton Andres Stephens; and siblings, Carolyn Hill of Decherd, and Bobby (Pamela) Anderson of Decherd; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 am-2 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Rudy Wilkinson officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Garner Cemetery. The family requests all attendees please wear a mask and keep six feet apart for social distancing.
