Daris Mills Gray, 88, of Corinth, MS went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026 at Country Cottage Assisted Living.

Daris was born on November 12, 1937 to the late Van and Elora Mills. She attended Farmington High School, was a cosmetologist with her own beauty shop, and worked at Walmart in Corinth for many years before her retirement. Daris was a hard worker and an independent soul, who would take on any task that needed doing. Daris was also a loving caretaker to many family members that depended on her in their time of need. She was there until the end for them and provided for them without hesitation.

Daris was also blessed with “a green thumb,” and loved to spend time on her flowers and garden. She was a lifelong member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, and above all else she was a devout Christian who cherished her church and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Kenneth L. Rogers; second husband Pete Gray; and brother Caroll Mills.

She is survived by her nephews Chad Mills (Kim), Brad Mills (Adrian), and Chris Mills; and great-nieces and great-nephews Chase Mills, Klhoe Mills, Van Mills and Jade Mills.

The family would also like to send many thanks to stepdaughter and special caretaker Donna Dean, who was there for Daris every time she needed her.

Due to the recent ice storm, the immediate family will hold a private memorial service, as soon as possible. No public funeral service will be held.

Online condolences may be left at www.memorialfuneral.com

Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements
