MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a t0-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person near Danville in Morgan County:
“A two-vehicle crash at approximately 4:45 p.m. Monday, May 23, has claimed the life of a Danville woman.
Carolyn McDonald Dulaney, 67, was fatally injured when the 2008 Kia Sorento she was driving was struck and overturned by a 2017 Kia Soul, driven by Kenneth Edward Thompson, 23, of Danville.
Dulaney, who was not utilizing her seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Thompson was not injured. The crash occurred on Brown Road near Iron Man Road, approximately five miles north of Danville, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
