Mr. Danny William Pope, age 58, of Guntersville, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Pope was born in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. on November 13, 1962 to the late William ‘Bill” & Lucy Mae Pope. Danny was one of the hardest workers one would have ever met. He had a career as the “Bread Man” to many and worked with the family business, Pope & Sons Lawn Care. Mr. Pope also held several titles within the local school systems including; Brindlee Mtn Girls Basketball & Softball Coach, Brindlee Mtn School Bus Driver, Arab High School Custodian. Mr. Pope is a member of Lifespring Baptist Church.
Danny will be forever remembered by his wife, Britnie Begnaud Pope; sons, Heith (Amy) Pope, Dylan (Holli) Pope; daughters, Kelsey Pope, Marissa Pope; grandchildren, Jace Pope, Caraway James “C.J.” Pope; sisters, Lounita (Eugene) Wininger, Rhonda Cornelison; host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his beloved parents; Mr. Pope is preceded in death by his son, Dustin Begnaud.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial to follow service at Arab Memorial Cemetery.
