Danny Taylor, age 66, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, April 25, 2013. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, April 27, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Sunday, at 3:30 p.m., at the funeral home chapel. Larry Young will be officiating. Interment will be in Francis King Lucas Public Cemetery, located in western Lauderdale County.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Franklin County, and served his country in the United States National Guard. He is preceded in death by his father, Ganium Taylor Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Taylor; mother, Jean Eckles (Charlie); son, Chris Taylor; daughter, Dana Taylor Loeppky (Ian); grandchildren, Lindsay and Ashley Taylor, and Emma Loeppky; and sisters, Brenda Thomas and Sandy Faber.
Pallbearers include Nathan Burnett, Jacob Scott, Marshall Brown, Tim Kennamore, Tony Baker, and Chris Taylor.
