Danny Stanford, 73 of Lester, passed away on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Stanford was born on December 12th, 1948, to Calvin Mason Stanford and Maggie Mildred Coffman Stanford.
Mr. Stanford is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eva Stanford; son Kyle Stanford (Whittney) of Rogersville; granddaughter Avery Stanford; brothers Calvin Stanford (Cindy) of Lester, Dennis Stanford (Helen) of Minor Hill, TN, Alvin Stanford of Lester, and Davey Stanford (Betty) of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service for Mr. Stanford will be on Friday, January 14th, 2022, at 2:00pm at Hester’s Chapel Cemetery, with Chuck Hood officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00-1:30pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Stanford enjoyed many things, including fishing and Alabama football. But he especially loved his granddaughter Avery.
