Danny Ray Wales 57, of Elkmont,AL died Monday, February 24, 2020 at his home with family around him.
Born Tuesday, March 27, 1962 in Athens, AL, he was the son of the late Billy Wayne Wales and Judy Gail Ussery Wales.Danny lived in the Ardmore area all his life and worked for the City of Ardmore for 13-14 years along with dad Billy Wales. Danny also had his own Backhoe service.He was an avid Alabama football fan, loved the outdoors and warm weather, and most of all he loved being with his family.
He is survived by his mother Judy Wales, Elkmont, AL; wife, Sharon Denise Wales, Elkmont, AL; sons, Jamie (Rachel) Wales, Elkmont, AL, Jake Wales, Elkmont, AL, sisters, Shelia (Larry) Bottom, Blanche, TN, Connie (Tom) Munger, Elkmont, AL; 3 grandchildren, Josey, Ragan, and Jackson Wales, who he loved with all of his heart.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch McCormick and Bro. Larry Bottom officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
