Danny Ray McBay, 61, of Prospect, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski, Tennessee.
Mr. McBay has lived in the Ardmore community his entire and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a passion for Auburn football and wrestling. He also enjoyed spending his weekends at the Dog Day Flea Market.
Mr. McBay is preceded in death by his parents, George David McBay and Zela Bea Locker McBay, as well as one son, Terry Ross McBay.
He is survived by his wife, Myra McBay, one son, Timothy (Keri) McBay, three daughters: Trista (Matt) Venneman, Tabatha (Ben) Sterling, and Crystal Venneman, eight brothers, two sisters, grandchildren: Daniel, Gracin, Logan, Blakely, Michael, Christopher, Colten, Tyler, and Cayla, four great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
There will be a visitation held for Mr. McBay at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Chapel Service has been scheduled for the following day, Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Smith Family Clinic. Donations can be sent in honor of Mr. McBay via mail to the HudsonAlpha Foundation at 601 Genome Way, Huntsville, AL, 35806.
