Danny Ray Berryman, 59, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, with Chris Miller, Brian Rutherford, and Ben Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
Born on December 28, 1964, to Daulton and Sandra Berryman, Danny was a member of The Hatton Church of Christ. He graduated from Hatton High School in 1983. He actively supported fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Danny was always active in youth and high school sports, and was a lifetime Auburn fan.
Survivors include his two children, Nathan (Hailey) Berryman and Dana (Brian) Taylor; two grandchildren, Hardin Berryman and Norah Taylor; mother, Sandra Berryman; one brother, Mike (Dawn) Berryman; two nieces, Katie and Kloie Berryman, and extended family.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Daulton Berryman; maternal grandparents, James and Mary Berryman; and paternal grandparents, Rubert and Melbalene Berryman.
Pallbearers will be Dexter Rutherford, Josh Bryant, Rickey Johnson, Keith Evans, Rodney Risner, and Jimmy Boyd.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jake Rutherford and Jessie Will Rutherford.
The family extends special thanks to their Hatton Church of Christ family, Emily Hood with Enhabit Hospice, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Helen Keller Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
