A Funeral Service for Danny Mitchell, age 56, of Lineville, AL will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial will follow at New Harmony Christian Church Cemetery.
Danny was born in Ashland, AL and lived all his life in Clay County. He graduated high school and spent 29 years at Ace Products before he retired. He loved spending time at the creek panning for gold and you would usually find him with a dip of Skoal. He was Baptist at the Lineville Baptist Church just a few years ago and attended there as often as possible.
He is survived by his brother, Stacy Mitchell and wife Johnna of Lineville; two nieces, Johnwana Yates and Wesley, and Aleatha Mitchell; great niece, Roxie Bailey and great nephew, Tommy Mitchell; several very close family members and extended family, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Joann Mitchell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5:30 until 8:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
