Funeral services for Danny Lynn Kimbrough, age 60, will be Saturday, July 11, 2015, 11 a.m., at Grace Episcopal Church, Sheffield, with the Rev. Carl Bright officiating. The family will receive friends four one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mr. Kimbrough, who died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 10, 1954, in Colbert County, to B.D. Kimbrough and Margaret Mary McCaig Kimbrough.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Kimbrough was a past president of Daybreak Rotary in Decatur, an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Decatur, and he served on the vestry at Grace Episcopal Church, Sheffield.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Kimbrough, of Decatur; two sons, Richard Kimbrough (Lily), of Birmingham, and Randall Kimbrough (Christina), of Sheffield; one daughter, Amanda Kimbrough (Matt Stephenson), of Lacey’s Spring; two brothers, Larry Kimbrough (Belinda) and Jerry Kimbrough (Pam), both of Birmingham; four grandchildren, Madison Tate, Wyatt Kimbrough, Lillian Kimbrough, and Gavin Kimbrough; his mother-in-law, Ella Marchbanks, of Decatur; and his beloved pet, Johnny Rocket.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
