Danny Keith Staggs, age 59, of Loretto, TN passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, January 19, 2026, at his residence in Loretto, TN. He was a native of Nashville, TN, a self-employed roofing contractor for 35 years, and of the Church of Christ Faith. He loved fixing cars, fishing, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Emma Rodgers Staggs; his brothers, Arthur Staggs and Alvin “Cowboy” Staggs; and son, Brian Keith Staggs.
He is survived by his companion, Renee Gooch of Leoma, TN; one brother, Curtis Staggs of Clifton, TN; one sister, Diane Prentice (Dale) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Mitch Staggs (Marie) and Jessie Staggs (Katelyn), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; thirteen grandchildren; and nephew, Johnny Staggs of Loretto, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Spann Cemetery at 2:30 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, with Jacob Dale officiating.
