Danny Joe Eaton, 68, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Booneville, MS. He was born October 14, 1949 to Elliott Odell Eaton and Jewel Mae Kennedy Eaton and was owner of Eaton Tool & Die in Belmont, MS. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing and was a good husband, father, brother, Papaw, uncle and friend.
Services will be Saturday, August 25, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Brett Bolding and Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years – Sue Eaton, Dennis, MS; two children – Tabitha Pruitt (Wade) Dennis, MS and Tina Eaton (Doug Estes) Midway, MS; five grandchildren – DeAndra Pruitt (Michael Carter), Hunter Pruitt, Regan Bolding (Alex Gobble), Brett Bolding and Preston Eaton; four great-grandchildren – Makalynn Carter, Brook Carter, Coby Carter and Khloie Bolding; two sisters – Jot Pharr and Janet Manely; five brothers – David Eaton, Gene Eaton, Jimmy Dale Eaton, Ronnie Eaton and Jack Eaton and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Lil Dan Eaton and a brother, Bobby Ray Eaton.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Eaton, Jackie Dale Eaton, Brett Bolding, Hunter Pruitt, Lee Johnson and Kent McClung. Honorary pallbearers will be Regan Bolding, DeAndra Pruitt and Preston Eaton.
Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
