Danny Hayes Suddith, age 72, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. Suddith proudly served his nation in the U.S. Navy and retired after 22 years of service. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 49 years, Betty Jo “Jody” Suddith; sons, Danny Suddith II, Curtis Suddith (Amy); grandchildren, Brett Suddith, Alyssa Jones (Logan), Chelsea Suddith, Hayden Suddith (Madeline); sister, Patsy Williams; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Cummings Suddith; father, Romas Hayes Suddith; brothers, Larry Suddith, Roger Suddith, Joe Suddith, Randy Suddith; and sister, Wanda Fretwell.
The visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with a celebration of his life at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Military honors will follow.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor, ICU staff at Helen Keller Hospital for all their loving care.
