Joint services for Mr. Danny Taylor, age 75 and his wife Mrs. Glenda Taylor, age 73 will be held on Friday Sptember 11, 2020 at 3 PM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home, with Stephanie Stone officiating, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, TN. Visitation with the family will be on Friday September 1, 2020 starting at 1 PM until service time at 3 PM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN. Appropriate social distancing protocols with masks recommended as set forth by the CDC and the State of Tennessee will be observed for all services.
Mr. Taylor a retired engineer at the Milan Arsenal passed away at his home on September 3, 2020 and Mrs. Taylor a retired secretary of Dr. Larry Williams MD. passed away at the Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital on September 6, 2020.
Mr. and Mrs, Taylor were preceded in death by: their parents Robert Monroe and Virginia (Eddlemon) Taylor and Elmer Young and Margaret Geneva (Dillard) London; children Kim Taylor and Bobby Taylor: Danny’s brother Jackie Taylor; and Glenda’s sister Peggy Burkett.
Mr. Taylor is survived by: a niece Penny Lollar ; and two nephews Joey Taylor and Robert Taylor all of Dyer, TN. Mrs. Taylor is survived by: two sisters Rita and husband John Mc Collum of Dyer and Betty London of Trenton, TN; three nices Leslie Cash of Dyer, TN, Heather Patterson of Trenton, TN and Britiany Moore of Obion, TN; three nephews Chad Forester, Bishop Burkett, and Josh Burkett all of Trenton, TN.
