Danny Elton Stutts was born March 14, 1950 to the late Collins Elton and Mary Jewel Borden Stutts. He peacefully departed this life on August 4, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was a life-long Christian and currently attended and loved Grace Bible Church of the Shoals. He graduated from Central High School, Florence in 1968 where he was well-known for playing basketball. He was voted Mr. Central High School by his peers and teachers. He retired from Sears after 25 years of service in the automotive department, owned a cattle farm for five years, and most recently drove a truck eight years for Metso Paper of Florence. He enjoyed traveling, camping, bird watching, woodworking, farming, fishing, watching Alabama Crimson Tide football, singing, and being with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; surprising them and watching them grow. Above all else he liked to tell them and others jokes and laughing. He always said, “Happy is the person who can laugh at himself; he will never cease to be amused.” Danny was constantly amused.
