Dannie Edward Willingham – Obituary

Dannie Edward Willingham, age 69, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, May 06, 2018.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from Reynolds Metal and Wise Alloys after 30 years.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 08, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 09, 2018 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Steve Bragwell will speak at the service. Burial will be at Taylor Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Willingham and Theadus McAfee Willingham; and sister-in-law, Connie Willingham.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda DeVaney Willingham; sons, Derrick Willingham (wife, Teresa), Danny Shawn Willingham; grandchildren, Morgan Willingham, Maggie Willingham, Masen Willingham; brother, Van Willingham; sisters, Jo Ann Peters, Elaine Pickett; and several nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will be Floyd Willingham, Jr., Derrick Willingham, Jason DeVaney, Tyler DeVaney, and Scotty Simpson. The honorary pallbearer will be Jason Fikes.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, Eric, Alyson, Generations of Red Bay and to everyone that took care of our family.
