Danish Rance Miller, age 93, of Florence passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday October 1st 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Brock officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church, a member of the Sunshine Band and retired from TVA as a chemist. He was a member of the 421st -710 Signal Aviation Battalion, 12th Air Force in WWII. He was on the last honor flight to see the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. Pallbearers are, Brad Sharp, Tim Scott Jr., Kenneth Carroll, Ronnie McKinney, Jay McKinney and Mark Scott. Survivors include his wife, Winnie Belle Miller. Children: Kenneth Miller (Ginny); of Sumter, SC, Larry Miller of Muscle Shoals, AL and Janice Scott (Tim) of Athens, AL. Brother: Eulion “Dean” Miller of Haleyville, AL 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church Mission Fund.
