Daniel W. Vaughn, age 48, of New Hope, AL passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at a local hospital. Daniel W. Vaughn was born in Scottsboro, AL to Dwayne & Margaret Vaughn. He worked in all phases of the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his brother Troy Vaughn. He is survived by his wife Melinda Martin, parents Dwayne & Margaret Vaughn, son Dennis Vaughn, step-son Allan Martin, step-daughter Britney Martin, brothers Gary Vaughn (Michelle) & John Vaughn, sister Laura Thompson, 3 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from noon till 2pm at Hampton Cove Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2pm also at Hampton Cove Funeral Home.
