Daniel Lee “Jack” Jackson, Sr, 60, of Florence, passed away, Thursday, October 28, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Leighton Baptist Church on Saturday, November 6th, at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Lauderdale County and a longtime employee of Tee Jays. He attended Coffee High School and was a huge Auburn football fan, War Eagle!!! Jack loved Lynyrd Skynyrd and is “free as a bird now”. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray “Stonewall” Jackson.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Rena Jackson; children, Daniel Lee Jackson, Jr. (Amber), D.C. Jackson (Regina), and Amanda Jackson (Victor Carson); mother, Sue Jackson; grandchildren, Nathen and Caymen Jackson, Natalie and Russell Jackson, and Devon Carson; sisters, Debbie Dorsett and Scarlet Smith; brother, Robert Jackson: and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to the nursing staff of the COVID and ICU units of North Alabama Medical Center.
