Funeral service for Damon Simpson, 87, will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Simpson died on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1931, in Morgan County to Elonza Simpson and Olive (Compton) Simpson. He was employed by The Huntsville Times as a printer for 30 years, prior to his retirement. He was working there when they got their first electric printing press. He was a member of the Hartselle Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his wife: Shirley Simpson, his parents and two brothers; Thomas Weldon Simpson and Willard Simpson.

Pallbearers will be Corey Simpson, Jacob Deep, Tyler Franks, Blake Franks, Kevin Correia, Bradley Wilhite.
